Gwadar is a port city on the southwestern coast of Pakistan, facing the Arabian Sea.

It serves as a strategic commercial harbor and is central to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

The city experiences an arid climate with hot summers and mild winters. Nearby, the Makran Coastal Highway connects Gwadar to Pasni and Lasbela, while the Gwadar Port remains pivotal for regional maritime activity.

Completed in 2007, Gwadar Port is a deep-sea facility designed to handle commercial shipping linked to regional trade routes.
